ENTRY TWENTY ONE: Distracted
How are you going? Checking in late today - not ideal but here I am! We are back in Aotearoa New Zealand now. I don’t know why I haven’t learnt but when we get to a new place I put so much pressure on myself to get set up and settled so quickly, when the reality is, we’ve just come off the back of an incredible 5 month world trip. That does take adjustment! My personal life has been busy this week and it’s been a really exciting time with family, I also have my final assignment due for the Diploma in Small Business and Project Management course I am doing through TWOA. It’s the last push so it’s taken a lot of my focus this week which meant that Simple Prints really went on the back burner, like probably the most it’s ever been for a while which isn’t ideal as this period is the busiest period of the year. But not letting that get to me and telling myself I have still done what needs to be done this week. I am still showing up and putting in work albeit minimal. The consistency is whats most important. Monday: Replied to customer inquiries
Tuesday: Customer emails, orders, Instagram post and Simple connections - late
Wednesday: Picked up prints and posted prints (day late)
Thursday: Drew customer prints
Friday: Sent off prints to customers
Saturday: Nothing
Sunday: Simple Connections
What I Learned:
Not even going to share anything that I learnt this week because there is literally nothing I did!

Didn’t get to do either of the weeks focus’ so they are the same. I still have this week to go with my course so I’m going to have to work on being more focused so that I can actually give Simple Prints the attention it needs with the lead up to Christmas! I hope you aren’t feeling to overwhelmed with this busy season - remember to nourish yourself and rest!
