ENTRY TWENTY FOUR: Getting it Done

Feeling very grateful and proud of getting things done this week - I’ve handed in my final assignments for the Diploma in Small Business and I had orders come through equalling to $370. Considering I had dropped the ball with social media I made an effort this week to share the Christmas deadline dates and every day I did I had an order come through! Super exciting. Also confirms my reliance on social media so that’ll definitely be on the goals list for next year. I’m aiming to do a goal reset and future plan in the new year after some time off! Hope you have a great week - thanks for being here, it means so much

As always, I welcome any feedback, support or questions you may have. Find me on Instagram @simplestudios__

What I Did:

Monday: Finished a print order and finalised the Christmas bunting

Tuesday: Sent prints off to Tom, picked up prints, made Christmas bunting test, recorded it and uploaded a reel, made a story explaining tomorrow is the second to last week to order physical prints and an order came through!

Wednesday: Custom orders, Instagram story and an inspiration post about the upcoming Christmas Collaboration

Thursday: Custom orders, put together some product listings for the Christmas Collection and made an Instagram story

Friday: Instagram stories, sent of order previews and bunting work

Saturday: Custom order work

Sunday: Custom order work - no Simple Connections again.. need to revisit the system with this as it’s not working

What I Learnt:

Eeeek, didn’t learn anything again this week! This week..

What I Spent:

Costs are all in NZD and are from the week just been. 04 - 10, December, 2023

  • The Warehouse (Packaging Tape) - $1.05

  • 123 Mart (Ribbon for the Bunting) - $4.00

Total: $5.05

What I Earned:

  • Custom Illustration Orders - $95.25

Next weeks focus:

  • Influencer outreach

  • Christmas Product Launch

  • Video three of ‘The Ecommerce Roadmap’

No distractions this week - time to get things sorted. Launch this Christmas collection, have fun with it and start preparing for some time off!

Big love, Sam
