ENTRY TWENTY SIX: 2024!

Kia Ora! Eeek I’m excited to be back, It doesn’t feel like it but I’ve actually had a month off! It wasn’t really the initial plan - I originally thought I would carry on over the break, and I could’ve. I had capacity to, but I felt I had nothing to document. I really just have enjoyed being back in Aotearoa and spending my time enjoying our summer. I’m glad I did. However I do feel this bit of guilt in a sense that I’ve failed at my consistency. It is what it is and looking back it’s been great to rest, reset and get my bearings a bit again. Take the pressure off and let Simple Prints just be without the emotion. I am thanking my earlier self for being prepared too. I am so clued up with my income and expenses that I made sure to set aside enough money for any upcoming expenses which meant I wasn’t worrying. I’ve come so far with business cashflow - I used to avoid it soo much so it’s awesome to reflect on that! I also set really low expectations for January - the revenue goal is $300 and I didn’t receive a peep of interest until this week where I had 3 orders!!! That was awesome. Lastly - I sat down a couple times to do some business planning but I did feel quite overwhelmed with it so instead I’ve come up with 8 goals/focuses for the first quarter. I do want to sit down and do some more planning so I’ll potentially look to do that this week. SO excited to be back, I hope you had a great break and are looking forward to the year ahead - let’s do this!!!

As always, I welcome any feedback, support or questions you may have. Find me on Instagram @simplestudios__

I learnt lots of technical things this week, from both of the free webinars I watched. Embarrassingly though I did not take any notes and I can’t really remember exactly what I learnt so I will note that for this week coming
