ENTRY THIRTY EIGHT: Showing Up

It’s Thursday…THURSDAY and I’m only now just sharing last weeks update with you, I also can hardly remember what I properly did as I didn’t document the full week. It’s funny how quickly habits slip once you allow them to. Not letting myself get defeated though and instead showing up here after dropping the ball. My friends hosted the most incredible baby shower for me on Sunday and I was nervous in the lead up to it, and then pregnancy kicked my butt post the event, which plays a part in why I’m so late this week. I have been so overwhelmed by the love. Honestly it was beautiful and just yeah. No words. Simple Prints wise it was a foundational week really. I got set up to launch the new Custom Handwritten Word Art product and set the launch date to be Monday the 15th April. In hindsight it was not the most ideal day but I thought if I didn’t just do it I would keep avoiding it until I felt it was ‘perfect’. I remembered back to when I first started Simple Prints at university, I did everything so naively and then changed and adapted as I went. It worked then, so I thought, why can’t it work now. I don’t need to reinvent the wheel. I think thats a major inhibitor for me when it comes to running Simple Prints in it’s entirety, I feel myself saying that in order for something to work well/sell well it needs to be completely ‘new’ and out of the box and unique. To be honest, writing this out right now is really unpacking something I didn’t realise was such a block for me. Selfishly these documentations are really helpful for me so I do hope that they add some sort of value for you too. If anyone is even reading this haha. Rambling aside. Lets get into the week!
