ENTRY THIRTY SIX: Duality

It’s currently Monday evening, we’ve just gotten back from four nights in the Abel Tasman on Michaels family boat. It was a very special weekend as Michaels brother proposed! So exciting. Really had me reflecting on the duality we can feel in life as it was also the anniversary of my mums death four years ago. It’s hard to think it’s been that long. Personal life aside, this week Simple Prints had 3 orders come through! I’m not fully sure where they came from, but an influencer did post on tiktok sharing how good the custom illustrations are as gifts so I wouldn’t be surprised if they came from there. I will look into it this week. The end of this month also means it’s the end of Q1. I set eight goals at the start of the year for this quarter and so I think I’ll do another breakdown later this week of how I went on those and just a bit more of a wider scope in general, might also look at putting down some goals for Q2. It’s a funny feeling as at the end of Q2 we’ll be welcoming our new baby! I didn’t even write down what I did this week, I don’t know what happened so it’s just going to be this catch up. I didn’t do the easter promo, Q1 analysis or new product launch like I said I would and my baby brain at the moment has me completely blanking - all I know is I had three orders come through which was amazing, cool how I said last week that I need to focus on the positives and then 3 orders came in! This week I’ll focus on Q1 analysis, and the new product launch.
